Email Interview #7: Soak Republic

I have reviewed about Soak Republic in one of my recent post titled Unique Trendy Fashion Accessories. In this post, I conducted an email interview with them.

1) Could you tell me more about yourself?
tiffany chew age 26 was a multimedia designer, pei shan age 27 was a communication executive (from graphic design background) are good friends since college days, and peter – a graphic designer, one of the co-founders of soak republic.
1b) How was your site created? Any other team member behind your blog shop’s success?
it is started with some magic words, “What if” & “let’s do it” as simple as that. 
one day tiffany was admiring one of the accessories website and day dreaming ‘what if’ she can do something like that one day. then she showed pei shan the website, and pei shan throw the word ‘lets do it’! and there soak republic was born with few hundred as capital and importantly with an mind set of ‘lets try, you never know when u never try out!’. dare to dream and take action is what we always keep in mind, from selection of accessories to managing the site. also there is one thing that never change from day one which is we aim to have an environmentally friendly business. ie, we only use paper bag, encorage customers to recycle, we even printed our own shopping bag to give out to buyers, if they bring the bag to bazaar and use it we will give some discount as an effort to go green.
2) What is your blogshop or online shopping site offering? (Share at least 3.)
we offer fashion accessories from earrings to necklace, bracelet, headband to bags. some of them we design and handmade ourselve.
3) Which is your best selling item? And tell me more about it. (Preferably provide me a photo of at least 250 pixel in length)

4) Could you share one tip that your site have to ensure safe shopping online?
currently we are only doing 3rd party fund transfer. that is the safest & most conventional way.
nothing can be safer than that we guess
5) One last online shopping tip you want to share with my readers.
shopping online, is much depending on personal experiences.
there is no tip, first timer – goes from gut feelings, testimonials and trust.
and surely, you will return to the sellers that you are familiar with and or you think they are trustworthy.
